Welcome!
The Afton Historical Society was established in 1986. It was the successor to the Jericho Historical Society and the Isabelle House Association. Our goal is to preserve, protect, and promote historic culture in the Town/Village of Afton through our research, website, publications, educational programs, and community outreach.
Board Meetings (which are open to the public) are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month (call 607 693-1408 to confirm) at the Museum, from January to November. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
The Museum is open, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, on Saturdays, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or at any time by appointment (607 693-1408). The Museum is located at 116 Main Street, Afton, NY 13730.
Donations to the Historical Society are always appreciated.
