Welcome!

The Afton Historical Society was established in 1986. It was the successor to the Jericho Historical Society and the Isabelle House Association. Our goal is to preserve, protect, and promote historic culture in the Town/Village of Afton through our research, website, publications, educational programs, and community outreach.

Board Meetings (which are open to the public) are held monthly at 9:00 a.m., in the Susquehanna Room at the Afton Village Hall, from January to November. Programs are featured at announced times and are advertised in the Tri-Town News. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

The Museum is open, from Memorial Day through October, on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Museum is located at 116 Main Street, Afton, NY 13730.

From November
through May we are only open by appointment. Contact us at 607-693-1408.

Look for us on Facebook and help support us when you shop on Amazon by using AmazonSmile.

Donations to the Historical Society are always appreciated.
